Peugeot decided it could manage without, and people noticed.

The absence of something only shows in profile. On the wall it is immediately obvious.

Drawn for this set

This mount is drawn for set 42156 and for nothing else. Not a universal clamp that roughly fits around it, but a carrier that grips the Technic structure inside the model — where the set gets its strength from. In this version the model sits flat against the wall instead of standing out from it. That saves depth, and the silhouette stays intact.

Putting it up

The mount sits flat against the wall, so there is little leverage on the screws. Two plugs are enough: a cavity plug in plasterboard, an ordinary 6 mm plug in brick or concrete.

Screws and plugs are not included, and that is deliberate: every wall needs different fixings. Not sure what yours needs?
